Iga Swiatek has disclosed that her father Tomasz keeps all of her trophies and will add her 2024 French Open trophy to the collection in his house. The Pole also joked about him handling the upkeep of her growing collection.
Swiatek added several new trophies to the collection in her father’s house following her outstanding run during the claycourt season. After winning back-to-back WTA 1000 titles in Madrid and Rome, the World No. 1 clinched her fifth Grand Slam crown at the French Open. Overjoyed after her triumph, the Pole rushed to the stands and embraced her father and team in a heartwarming display.
Speaking to the Polish media after her victory, Iga Swiatek opened up about her familiarity with Roland Garros, having clinched her fourth title at the claycourt Major. She expressed delight at knowing the way to her family and team after winning the title, describing it as a comfortable environment.
