Swiatek continues to make history as number one and already surpasses Barty

Iga Swiatek is only 23 years old, but she seems destined to make history. With over a decade of tennis ahead of her, the Polish player is already approaching historic records and continues to build tremendous dominance at the top of the WTA ranking: today, she completes 122 weeks as number one, becoming the seventh player in history to have spent the most time at the top. Iga has just surpassed Ashleigh Barty, from whom she took over, and aims to approach her next target, Monica Seles (178 weeks). The leader remains practically unreachable, though: Steffi Graf with 377 weeks at the top.
