Emma Navarro is an American tennis star and heir to a £1.18billion ($1.5bn) fortune – meaning she is worth more than three of the sport’s most iconic figures combined. The 23-year-old’s wealth comes from her father, Ben Navarro, who founded the Sherman Financial Group in 1998, which grew into a credit card and debt collection empire.

His biggest asset, Credit One, recently raked in £356million ($453m) in the latest financial year. According to Forbes, Ben’s net worth stands at £1.18bn ($1.5bn). In comparison, Celebrity Net Worth reports that Roger Federer is worth £432m, Novak Djokovic £188m, and Rafael Nadal £173m, totalling £786m. While Navarro had the three male tennis icons beaten in net worth, her female counterpart – Jessica Pegula – supersedes her as she is set to inherit up to £5.4bn ($7bn) from her petrol business mogul father Terry.

Emma began her WTA Tour career in 2019 at the Charleston Open and won her first major tournament match in 2023 at the French Open. The young star also reached the Swedish Open final in 2023, and claimed her first title at the Hobart International in 2024.

She then ascended to the eighth spot in the world singles rankings in tennis and was crowned the Most Improved Player of the Year by the WTA for 2024. However, she is set to share her father’s billions with her three siblings – Earl, Owen and Meggie.

Her younger sister Meggie is also a budding tennis player currently competing at college level. With four heirs to Ben’s billions, it’s likely that the inheritance will be divided equally among them.
