Aryna Sabalenka, Ons Jabeur and Emma Raducanu might be missing the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, but world No. 1 Iga Swiatek will be representing Poland. Swiatek won at Roland-Garros, the venue for tennis at the Games, earlier this month and has spoken about the challenges of switching back to clay from grass. Swiatek will be the favourite to win gold at the Games.

Iga Swiatek expects going back to clay for the Paris 2024 Olympics not to be a “problem” for her and thinks the change of surface would be harder if reversed. The tennis event at the Games starts at Roland-Garros on July 27, two weeks after the final of Wimbledon.
