Can’t Act Like the Victim: Nick Kyrgios Minces No Words in Yet Another Hit at…
Nick Kyrgios loves stirring the pot! Two high-profile players, Jannik Sinner and Iga Swiatek tested positive in doping tests this year. Ever since the news of the doping controversies came out, Kyrgios has been expressing his disapproval of the tennis stars on and off. He has been quite vocal in his criticisms and time and again, we’ve seen him taking an indirect dig at Jannik Sinner and Iga Swiatek on the same. Recently, he was spotted following the same old routine during his recent appearance on the podcast, ‘Nothing Major.’ What did the Aussie say this time, though?
Apart from making comments on the doping controversies, Nick Kyrgios has been running the headlines for another reason as well! He’s all set to make a comeback to the Tour next month. A few days ago, while expressing his excitement to make a return to the Tour, he tweeted, “Feels good getting these consecutive days training in the bank man…. Wrist re-construction and back out here… blessed………………Without failing any drug tests ↕️ be proud kygs doing it the right way .” It seems his controversial comments on this doping saga are currently overshadowing his long-awaited comeback.
Then after that, while reacting to a comment on that post, he wrote, “I have an 8 figure career. Grand slam finalist and beaten all of the greatest of all time. Doesn’t seem bad to me. No drugs either.” Now, recently he did it yet again in front of Jack Sock, Sam Querrey, and Steve Johnson on the podcast. During their conversation, Nick Kyrgios was asked if enjoys being the “villain of the Tour.” In reply to that question, the Aussie said, “I haven’t failed any drug tests. Once you get caught, you can’t act like the victim.
