Jason Kelce’s Latest Jab Sparks Wild Speculation Among NFL Fans

In what appears to be a playful jab, Philadelphia Eagles’ esteemed lineman Jason Kelce might have subtly critiqued Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker last Saturday, if the reactions of NFL enthusiasts are anything to go by.

Kelce, while sharing his unconventional stance on personal hygiene – specifically his decision against washing his feet with soap, curiously borrowed a phrase from Butker’s much-talked-about commencement address at Benedictine College.

“All of you have been fed diabolical lies that washing every crevice of your bodies and hair, all the time is somehow better or healthier. Any dermatologist not in bed with Big Soap will agree!! Hot spots are all that is necessary and actually leads to cleaner healthier skin,” Kelce opined through a post.

The phrase “diabolical lies” echoes a line from Butker’s speech, a detail not lost on the NFL audience who quickly connected the dots.

“’Diabolical lies’ is an…interesting turn of phrase I think I’ve heard somewhere before,” commented one fan, hinting at the rhetorical overlap between the two athletes’ statements.

“Not enough comments about how funny that is,” another added, appreciating the humor in Kelce’s reference.
