According to reports, the Kansas City Chiefs’ Rashee Rice surrendered himself to police on Thursday. The wide receiver’s move comes shortly after a warrant for his arrest was issued following a multi-vehicular crash in which he was involved late last month in Dallas. At the time video appeared to show Rice as well as several individuals fleeing the scene of the crash. It is understood that the 23-year-old was racing with another car when they collided with several others.
As per reports, Rice was taken into custody at Glenn Heights Police Department where his bond was set at $5,000 with a total surety bond of $40,000. It was not long before he posted bond and was then released. Regarding what comes next, Rice now faces eight charges, including six counts of collision involving bodily injury, one count of aggravated assault, and one count of collision involving serious bodily injury.
