Taylor Swift may be kicking herself for choosing to skip her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s Chiefs game against the Chargers on Sunday night in favor of the Golden Globes.
After the nomination of her film “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” in the Cinematic and Box Office Achievement category, along with a number of other popular films including Barbie, Spiderman: Across the Spider Verse, and John Wick: Chapter 4, Swift attended the esteemed awards ceremony.
After being the target of multiple jokes from comedian Jo Koy, the singer of “Cruel Summer” had a bad evening. According to rumors, Koy didn’t really have the first pick for the role; instead, he accepted it after other more well-known personalities declined.
It’s also reasonable to argue that his comedy didn’t exactly enthrall the crowd. Swift most definitely failed to see the humor in it. During the evening, the comedian made a joke about Swift’s recent relationship with Travis Kelce that seemed to be directed at her.
“There are fewer camera shots of Taylor Swift at the Golden Globes than there are in the NFL,” he remarked. This is the main distinction between the two events. Then the camera switched back to Swift, who was glaring back angrily and appearing extremely dissatisfied.
Kelce will talk about this on the New Heights podcast. Many people have responded to the joke on social media. There has been a lot of conjecture around the possibility that boyfriend Kelce will defend his partner.
Their New Heights podcast is scheduled to release its next episode. It is widely speculated that Kelce will talk about the incident with his brother Jason. Although it’s unclear if Kelce took offense at the remarks, considering how transparent his podcast is, most people think it will be talked about in some capacity.
